I spent a lot of years volunteering in schools, and I want to continue dedicating my life to helping children so I thought I would try my hand at blogging. I split my time between several schools in our district, so I have a lot of tips to share with parents of children of all ages. I first want to talk about how to ease your child through the exciting yet often tough transitions children face during their first year of middle school and their freshman year of high school. Some children struggle in the new environments, and they need extra emotional support during these years. Many children don't like to share their problems with their parents, so parents need to ask questions every day during these important years and help their children come up with solutions for every obstacle they face.
